Overview
I was tasked with developing a logo for Knotty Wood Restoration LLC. They are a franchise owner of Furniture Medic. The logo wasn't planned on being used for much, other than for a fun office brand. We printed the logo on stickers, made leather patches, and even hats for the employees.
Approach
With the LLC being called Knotty Wood, I knew I had to do something wood related in the logo. But I didn't want to be too obvious and lame. So I thought about what were some personable elements for the owners. (Since this logo wouldn't be used for marketing.) I leaned into the mountains and sunrise. Using that as my inspiration, I developed the logo.
